It is interesting that when using cold refining technology there is only one by-product - “waste” - this is a filtrate which consists of:

 

• Perlite brand B
• Bleaching clay
• Wax
• Phosphatides
• Fatty Acid Salts
• water

While with standard refining methods you will have:

 

• Liquid Hydrofusion
• Liquid soap stock
• filtrate
• Perlite
• Bleaching clay
• Wax

Due to this difference, direct oil losses during production by cold refining will be from 1.5 to 2.5% of the volume of incoming raw materials.
